Fit Ventures AI

Fit Ventures AI · Nottingham

AI set up for Nottingham business owners who want fewer missed enquiries, less admin and a clear first step.

Not sure where to start with AI, or worried about your customers' details? I'll show you one small first step, then teach you and your team to set it up. A person in your business checks everything the AI drafts before it goes out.

A fit call is a free 30 minute call to see whether this suits your business. To book one, use any Book my free fit call button to pick a time in my booking calendar. Nothing is sold straight from this page.

01The problem

Most owners don't know where to start.

Everyone says AI will save you time. Nobody says which job to give it first, whether it is safe with your customers' details, or whether it will work in a real week. If you aren't confident with IT, that is a lot to work out on your own.

Cost and headcount matter too. Wages and employer National Insurance have gone up, so another hire costs more than it used to. But the first problem is simpler: you don't know where to begin.

Sound familiar?

“I don't know where to start.”

“I'm not sure it's safe with my customers' details.”

  1. “I'm not confident with IT, and I haven't got time to learn it.”
  2. “What if it doesn't work, and I waste a month?”
  3. “Will it copy my customers' details somewhere I can't see?”
  4. “We can't afford another person, but we can't keep going like this either.”

These are examples, not quotes from my clients.

If that sounds like you, the first step is smaller than you think, and you don't have to be technical to take it.

02How I work

People, process and AI, together.

AI on its own doesn't fix a busy week. It works when your people know what it is for, the process is clear, and the tool does the repeat part. So I start with your people and your process, and add the AI last.

I don't sell a big build. I teach you to set up small fixes that each do one job, and a person checks every one.

03What I set up

Small fixes, grouped by the problem they solve.

Each fix is one repeat job that AI drafts for you, such as a reply to an enquiry. Fixes for the same area, such as finance, sit together in one helper. I suggest starting with one or two. You don't need them all.

Marketing

You haven't time to keep in touch

  • A monthly newsletter, drafted from your inboxYour helper drafts a monthly newsletter for you to check and send, only to contacts you may lawfully email. You check consent (their permission to be emailed) and your opt out list (people who asked you to stop); I show you how.

Finance

Invoices wait while you're busy

  • Overdue invoice remindersPolite reminders drafted in your voice, for you to check and send.

Operations and delivery

Enquiries wait while you're out

  • Replies drafted from your inboxDraft replies to the enquiries that reach your inbox, for you to check and send.
  • A daily team briefA short note, drafted each morning, of the day's key actions and decisions, from.
  • A phone answering service, not offered yetWhen it is offered, it would take messages, sort the urgent from the routine and pass them to you to deal with.

Compliance

Renewals and deadlines slip

  • A weekly deadline listEach week, your helper drafts a short list of the certificates, renewals and deadlines coming up, from the dates you keep in your own list.

A person in your business checks everything before it goes out. Before any customer details are used, I check with you which tools will see them, who can log in, and how each tool stores data.

04Your numbers

What the repeat jobs cost your business

Move the sliders to match a normal week. They start at five people doing four hours each, plus four hours of your own evenings; set them to your own business and your own rates.

Your evenings, at your own rate

192 hours of your evenings, at your own rate

At your hourly cost, your team’s repeat jobs are worth about £14,400 a year. On top of that, your evenings are worth about £5,760, a cost that rarely shows in your accounts. In your start session, you and I count where those hours go and agree which jobs are worth fixing first.

These are your own numbers, worked out over 48 working weeks. Nothing here is a promise of time saved; your start session looks at your real week properly.

Thinking of hiring instead? A new person usually costs more than their salary: employer National Insurance at 15% on pay above £5,000 a year (some employers can claim the Employment Allowance against it), a workplace pension for most staff, and sick pay from the first day off sick.

05What changes

Jobs are bundles of tasks. AI can help with some of them.

Anthropic, the company behind Claude, looks at work this way: every job is a bundle of tasks. Here is an example for a small local business. Each square is one task; bigger squares take more time. Press After AI to see which tasks stay with people, which AI helps with, which AI drafts for a person to check and send, and the new tasks it creates.

Stays with peopleAI helpsAI drafts, a person checks and sendsNew task

An illustration, not a finding. Square sizes are examples until your start session counts your real week.

What could change: people keep the work itself, the judgement calls and the customer relationships. The repeat writing could arrive as drafts, and checking and sending them would become part of the job.

06How it works

Three steps, and you stay in charge of each one.

I teach you to set it up yourself, so you understand what is running in your business. The work starts with a paid start session, which you can only buy after a call with me, never straight from this page.

It follows the CALMER Method™: Count where your hours go, Agree the fixes and Lock down the rules for your customers' details in the start session; Make each helper in your own words and Equip your team to run it as each helper is set up; then Review what is working and what needs changing at the review call, and each month if you choose monthly support.

What is included

  • 1. The start sessionCount, Agree, Lock down. About two hours, then your plan within 7 days

We choose the first fixes together, agree the rules for your customers' details, and you see your first fix working before the session ends. Within 7 days of the session you receive a written plan and ready made instructions.

  • 2. Your helpersMake, Equip. One for each area you choose, 90 minutes each

A helper is AI set up for one area of your business, such as finance; a skill is one repeat job it does. We set up each helper together, with its first skill, using examples of your own writing. Between sessions you use it in your real week, and I answer your questions by email.

  • 3. The reviewReview. A 30 minute call for each helper, or one 2 hour visit if you buy everything at once (the full package)

We check what is working, improve what is not, and decide what comes next. Add another skill or helper later, only if you want to.

Included, yours to keep

  • The Safe to Paste desk card

The worry it answers: "Is it safe with my customers' details?" A one page card showing what can go into AI and what never does, so everyone follows the same rules without asking.

  • The Voice Library

The worry it answers: "It'll make us sound robotic." A set of instructions for the AI that I write for your business and tune to your own tone, so drafts sound like you. You check every draft before it goes out.

  • Your AI setup board

The worry it answers: "I'll forget how it all works." A board in your own account on Notion, an online notes app (its free plan is enough), that holds your plan, your rules for customer details, each helper and its instructions, and what's next. We fill it in together at each session, and you keep it in your account afterwards.

08Why trust me

Who is teaching you.

  • Engineering

I trained as an electrical and electronic engineer and started my career as a systems engineer on helicopter and naval systems, at Westland Helicopters and BAE Systems. I still think in processes and checks.

  • My own businesses

I've built AI systems for my own businesses: trackers, email sorting, drafting and a daily start page. The AI drafts; I always check and send things myself. Now I help other owners set up their own.

  • Teaching

I've taught people for years: first the people in my team as a systems engineer, then personal training, gymnastics, group exercise, spin and yoga. I'm used to showing people something new at their own pace.

  • Property

I've worked in property since 2022: serviced accommodation first, and now land and planning.

Honestly: I'm new to offering this, so there are no client results to show yet.

That is why the start session comes first. It costs from £350. Its fee is refunded if your plan does not give you at least three fixes you would use and you tell me within 14 days of receiving it. If you buy everything at once within 30 days of the start session, its fee comes off that price, unless that fee has already been refunded.

09The guarantee

Three promises. Each one clearly stated.

Fit Ventures AI, a trading name of Fit Property Limited

FIRST FIX LIVE · PLAN REFUND · NO EXTRA COST ·CALMER

Your first fix

We set up your first fix together in the start session, and you see it working before the start session ends. If it isn't working when the session ends, judged against what we agreed in writing beforehand, your session fee is refunded in full within 14 days. If the agreed tool or access isn't ready, you and I set it up at a second session within 14 days of the start session instead, and the same promise applies to that session.

Your plan

If your written plan does not give you at least three fixes you would actually use, for the needs we agreed in the start session, tell me within 14 days of receiving it and I will refund the start session fee in full within 14 days of hearing from you. The fee is refunded once only, under this promise or the first fix promise.

The setup

If you've done the agreed setup steps and a skill we set up together isn't working at its review, I'll help you find and fix the problem at no extra cost for up to 30 days from that review, stopping sooner once it works. It's extra help, not a refund. Full terms here.

All three promises are set out in the terms.

10Is it for you?

Who this is for, and who it is not for.

This is for you if

  • You run a small business within about an hour of Nottingham. Travel beyond 30 miles of Nottingham is quoted before booking.
  • You don't know where to start with AI, or you've tried and stalled.
  • You want a person to check everything before it goes out.
  • You can give about two hours at the start, two at the review, and about hours a week for 30 days after each helper is set up.

This is not for you if

  • You want AI to send messages to customers with no one checking.
  • You want something built for you with nothing for you to do.
  • You are a large company with your own IT team.
  • You need a promised number of hours saved before we've started.

11Questions

The honest answers.

The things people worry about before they say yes, in plain words.

Before you say yes

Where do I start with AI in my business?

Start with one repeat job that eats your week, such as replying to enquiries. In the start session we choose it together, agree what customer details can and can't go in, and you receive a written plan within 7 days.

Is it safe with my customers' details?

Data handling comes first. Before anything is set up, we agree in writing what can go into AI and what never does. You get a one page desk card, and a person checks every message before it goes out. No setup can guarantee security, so I assess each tool and its settings with you.

What if it doesn't work?

Then you find out cheaply. Your first fix is set up with you in the start session, and if it isn't working by the end, your session fee is refunded. If your tools or access aren't ready on the day, you and I set it up at a second session within 14 days of the start session instead, and the same promise applies to that session. It is also refunded if your plan doesn't give you at least three fixes you'd use for the needs we agreed, and you tell me within 14 days of receiving it. If you've done the agreed setup steps and a skill isn't working at its review, I help you find and fix the problem at no extra cost for up to 30 days from that review. That is extra help, not a refund.

I'm not good with technology. Can I still do this?

Yes. I show you step by step, give you ready made instructions and answer your questions by email for 30 days after each helper is set up.

Will I need fewer staff?

That is your decision, not mine. AI drafts the repeat writing and a person checks it before it goes out. What you do with the time it gives back, whether that is growing without another hire or changing who does what, is up to you.

The practical bits

How long does it take?

The start session is about two hours, and your written plan follows within 7 days. Each helper is then set up with you in a 90 minute session. If you choose everything at once, the review visit is within 3 months of the start session.

What does it cost?

The start session is £350 for up to 10 people and £497 for 11 to 50. Each helper is £350 with its first skill, and each further skill is £250. Everything at once is £1,500, or £1,650 for 11 to 50 people. Monthly support after setup is optional, at £350 a month; a new helper is priced separately. [to confirm]

Who pays for the AI tools?

You pay for your own AI accounts, in your own name. For customer details, I recommend a business subscription (the paid account type for companies), where the provider says it won't use what you type to train its AI, with a login only for each person who uses it. Your written plan names the account and its likely monthly cost before you pay for any AI account.

What happens if I change AI tool later?

Where possible, I set up your helpers and skills so the AI tool behind them can be swapped without starting again. Your plan says where that is not possible.

What happens afterwards?

You keep everything: the fixes, the plan, the desk card, the voice library and your AI setup board. If you want more later, you add a skill or a helper when you need it.
